I agree with what you are saying and i respect what people consider to be fundamentals of their own game. Call it what you will but i am more interested in what factually needs to be done in common by all golfers to play the game to a standard let's say, that they have satisfying levels of control over where the ball is going.
So my thing would never be to rubbish anyone else' take on anything or limit how things are perceived. I am on a journey to discover what is...

I was such a Faldo fan I made a point to stay at The Marriott Faldo Institute when taking the kids to Disneyworld in early 2000s in the hope I would see him practice. I was in a practice bunker and he came by and asked if he could share the bunker and we hit bunker shots for 20 minutes in the same bunker. I didn't disturb him until I left. I wished him luck in The Masters, shook his hand and he signed my cap. Your right he is a massive man. I could look him eye to...

tony created a new topic Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic Preview & Pairings in the forum.A big congratulations goes out to Jennifer Johnson. Jennifer was the winner of the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic, making her the first woman on the LPGA to get her maiden victory in the 2013 season. Once again, as has been the case for just about every tournament this season, it went down to the final hole. Harmless.
The LPGA moves to the Bahamas this week for the inaugural playing of the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic.
This will be tournament #11 of 28 to be played...

This one above is a great view of how the hip rotation and shoulder rotation match up in both the pre strike and post strike ....and how the hands and handle are still close to the centre and haven't been elongated out and away from the body (which would be a slow down)

So for me it's an intention not to add loft or decrease loft through impact. The clubface angle that I set remains that way through impact.
Just on intention, because it's an overriding intention that I've practiced so much I don't need to mentally refer to it on each shot. The only time I refer to it is when i'm...

Somebody get this man some real clubs. Them upright sticks he got aren't worthy.
Grady,
That HEAVY wedge you gave me is sweeeeet but my dumb butt can't figure out how to pitch 100-85 yards with it. I keep booming it past. How the heck did they make that thing so heavy? You didn't put sand in the bottom of the shaft did you?

I put a fair amount of pressure on meself when I play with my buddies due to the fact that I talk large amounts of $#^* about all the stuff I learn on this particular website.
Plus (I'm gonna sound like an enormous j-hole here but whatevs) playing basketball in high school in Indiana in a small town is a lot of pressure and I struggled and dealt with that demon so golf pressure sounds like one thing to me - FUN.
It's so easy for me to do this golf thing because...
