Nice Former TPC Course
This was a very nice Pete Dye course. At first glance it appears to be a very challenging course, but it proved to be very fair. I was able to play my shots from around the fairways that I missed without a huge penalty, and the hazards are relatively easy to avoid. A big plus for me is this course seems to have been layed out with the walking golfer in mind, and only had one long walk from the 9th green to the 10th tee.
A long walk
This was a relatively nice new course. I've only played it once, and my view of it may be a bit affected by two things. First, the greens had just been punched for fall/winter so that made what would probably be very nice greens ordinarily play less than ideally. Second, and this is my major criticism, the back nine was a terrible walk. It winds through a neighborhood, and has huge walks from one green to the next tee on almost throughout the back nine. The front nine didn't seem to have this same layout and wasn't a terrible walk at all. If you plan on riding when you play, you will probably feel better about the course than I did.
