Golf is a game we love to play. Why not get a good workout while playng a round? Did you know that walking 18 holes for 3 to 5 hours can burn 2 times as many calories as driving the cart? The average golf course is roughly 4 miles in length. Here is the breakdown of calories burned:

Driving the course: roughly 820 calories*

Walking with a pull cart: 1430 calories*

Walking while carrying your clubs: 1440 calories*

*Estimates are based on the average size man

I would suggest to use the two shoulder strap instead of one for better support. If you have any back or knee problems you may want to take a pull cart instead of carrying your bag and consultt with your doctor. Also, if you can't walk the entire course and you are with someone who is taking a cart, try to walk every other hole.
