Diz, hope one day you post a 15 min session with the camera closer and angled up off the ground like some of GJ's. It would be priceless to catch another one of those up-sized fries hits which surprises even you.

Checkout my expression ... lmao right now because my feels are so bizarre but my swing looks so simple  ....Dont laugh but all I do is take a big radius at address ,pressure the handle foward into my left heel and drop the sweetspot on my right ankle and bam the ball just comes off! hows simples that...

Looks like nice tight little draws Diz.

Swing is looking very good. I know you're not trying to do any of it, but you're all over the elbow plane early and the club just jettisons out hard left post impact. I like it.

A couple of keys to this move...
1. Wide contained armset
2.Pressure foward with right butt pad and right leg in behind the leftside
3. Maintain the pressure in behind the leftside and when you change directions drop the sweetspot back behind you as hard as you want ...

This is very simple move and will make sense once you get away from thinking the swing is this big drawn out pivot move with micro moves attached...

Diz,

What is the purpose of putting the right side behind the left and keeping it there from address to past impact? Does that serve as an anchor of sorts to help you retain your structure throughout the motion? Sorry if that's already been discussed.

Is this just like "super-for-real-oh-my-goodness IMPLOSION" or what? Sounds like you're crushing yourself which makes sense.

All your energy goes to that ball it seems.

All Im doing is setting up with a wide disconnected armset and maintaining foward resistence thru my right index pad /right leg up under my left heel off the ball .... I never give that up as I move inward down the right axis wall then I just turn my torso away from the pressure and drop the sweetspot as hard as I want behind me ..... its just comes out with a tight smashed 2 yard draw everytime ...

This is huge for me. Arms are contained and disconnected. That's the difference between my 1-27 and 1-28 swings.

1-28 I decided to put my hands on separate orbits around my body. I visualized two circles going around my body. Red circle was my left hand, blue circle was my right hand. I visualized that I didn't want those lines to cross.

I think that means my arms were disconnected right?
I also think that means I was containing my arms better right?

I did some slo-mo analysis of my 1-28 swings and found something I've never done before I'm pretty sure:

I hope I never forget that arm setup and intent again because I forgot about it on 1-27.

1-27 is when I went backwards, back to OTT, back to all sorts of crazy bounce-out uncontained, crossing over arms. I was trying to coach my wife and get her swinging well so I had way too many thoughts and I didn't understand what I thought I understood. I hit it absolutely horrible.

Kenan, I like to feel some air under my armpits... my connection comes from my structure and resistence in my right index pad ,helps free up arm travel but also keeps it in check...

The longer I read this site the more impressed I am with your swing Diz.
Martin really knows things well. Very obvious.
Kenan stick with it man over the long haul. You made the right choice IMO.

diz, not fully understanding what you mean about contained(disconnected?) armset. Also about dropping the sweetspot behind you.
Thanks

A couple of good ones here. I'm not ready to go full Diz. I'm afraid I'm gonna pull one of my groins on that takeaway. I'm af-f-fraid of the power for real. . .

I followed your recipe as described above and it is no joke. Big fun for me tonight in el dome.

Thank you Diz. Thank you Martin. Holy crap. I'm scratching the surface and it's unreal.

This is me doing what I like to do: Goof off and experiment. Tonight I was hitting it where I looked and messed around with some distance control. This little goof off session got me feeling the twirl in a new and awesome way.

If you ain't shankin' you ain't tryin'!

My setup and discipline is still crap because I'm lazy. I thought I was crushing this driver tonight but my video shows that I'm slashing OTT. I have a lot to work on still. That's awesome because I was murdering the ball with my various frying pans.

Diz

I was doing this with my 5 iron and I was doing good and then I pulled out my 3 "hybrid-rescue-help-me-club" and it was disgusting. I could not not kill the ball with that club. Hybrids are like cheating.
