I think Hebron is not at all alone with this. Many many years ago I listened Pia Nilsson talking about this and saying 10 balls in half an hour would be perfect. I have seen lot of swedish players working with that method.

One great sentence was that practice should be replaced by prepare to play.

Personally I think both are needed, but structure training takes too big part of time for many players.

I suppose it takes some familiarity to play a virtual 18 holes as a pre-game on the range. Knowing the ideal spots off the tee pretty well, and then knowing what irons that leaves coming in, and knowing how you want to shape them into the greens.

Hogan's face changes. The tone of Hogan's voice takes on a different tenor as he explains his conscious dream training. When he describes his process of visualization, it is as if he is letting the interviewer in on a precious little secret.

It seems that we are all predisposed to dissect Hogan's swing, analyze his every muscle twitch, study the exact placement of his callouses, etc...; however, something seems lacking in this approach. After watching the video clip flagged by Drew, one could begin to suspect that Hogan was perhaps more of a practicing mentalist than commonly perceived.
