Born on this day in 1972 Yang Yong-eun, know to most in the golf world as Y.E. Yang and famous for his gutsy play in the 2009 PGA CHampionship where he overtook Tiger Woods in the final round. This marked the first time that Tiger had lost a major championship after holding the 54 hole lead.
Yang's earlier victory in the 2009 Honda Classic established his reputation as a player to watch but few expected the final day perfomance that Yang delivered at Hazeltine. The 205 yard hybrid shot from the rough on 18 is the stuff of legends. Converting the putt was the icing on the cake. Check out these highlights.....Can you say pressure?
