  • Hi Mark: I have been working on siting along HA at set-up, then waggling. Also I have been studying the work of this contributor. I especially like this drill.

I haven't brought him up here at SITD for the usual reasons. Anyone new, with an approach that has a chance of being better than the current crop of people, ie Lee commotion, Bradley Hugh

Jim Franks I bought his book, and talked with him. I think he's a decent and caring man who can hit a golf ball. I think if you think he can help you, try him. If you aren't satisfied, move on and keep searching. It's about both student and instructor, and finding the right 'fit'.

    Mark:
Your insight blends with Five Lessons. We also have to remember to with both hands, otherwise right hand overtakes through impact.

    Hi Andy:
I agree that it is an important picture. Shows that Trevino was an all legs swinger. No other way to achieve that follow thru position being an arm only, or arm and leg swinger. Goes along with Hogan's move the hips instruction.

There are three different ways to attack the golf ball.

    1. Arms only swing
    2. Arms and lower body swing
    3. Lower body swing only

The great's from the past, for example Trevino, Tiger in his prime, and currently Rory are lower body swingers....

Can't seem to find any reference to Hogan's Angle on SITD. Interesting, since it was the true secret that Hogan alluded too. The nice things about HA were that it insured the hands were on plane coming into impact and it created the unique hand...

Interesting how SITD evolved from a series of youtube videos explaining how Ben Hogan hit the golf ball. Without question, Hogan hit the ball completely different than any other golfer to date. I guess we are supposed to give up the search for...

    Hi Mark:
For me, it is interesting that as Hogan became older, his swing motion began too look more and more like Moe's motion. I don't think Hogan had his swing completely figured out until his later years, after leaving competition. His most...

Mark Great videos. Notice in the shortstop video, he basically throws overhand too first base. Same with Roger in overhead serve, . But in the last one, the forehand stroke, which is similar to an infielder making a side arm throw to a baseman, the angle of attack is different.
