I have hit range balls with my eyes closed, but only once. I teed up about twenty or so balls, shutting my eyes after getting set up, and let 'em rip with the driver. I played around with this during one range session and one range session only. It felt wild. Disorienting. I kinda' felt like Luke in Star Wars with the visor down.
I guess what I was referring to in the post above was swinging in the dark (not pitch black, mind you) with my eyes wide...
