- I'm Mike Maves. On the web most people know me as Sevam1!! I make videos and write books about golf. I used to play and practice a lot and got to be a pretty good golfer. I got especially good at the hitting golf balls part. I still remember most of what I learned and I am happy to share that info with anyone who wants to improve. I am passionate about using the Internet to help people get better at golf. I started this site with Steve Elkington so that people would have the tools to learn about golf both from us and from each other. Hope you enjoy it!!

Lifetime Hole in Ones = 1
Played in numerous provincial amateur tournaments in Canada including Ontario Amateur, Ontario Better Ball, Ontario Match Play. Low Qualifier 1996 Ontario Amateur.
Low Round = 64
Low Competitive Round = 67 in Qualifier Ontario Match Play - I Need To Work On

Mike Maves replied to the topic Re: Ben Hogan's "Secret-Life" - Hogan Was Gay! in the forum.Apart from hearing a great deal to the contrary of what you are putting forward, I don't know why anyone would care about this. I think also that it is pretty clear that someone's sexual orientation has about as much influence on the flight of a golf ball as one's religion.
I think it perhaps best for us all to wait for your book to come out rather than get into tabloid discussions like this here.
